109 cyclists are raising awareness for Parkinson's patients in ADELI

Spectators came to express their symbolic support for people with Parkinson's.

We had a fantastic afternoon on Saturday, April 18, surrounded by our patients at ADELI as we welcomed a group of 109 cyclists. Ján Hefty and a group of dedicated supporters finished their Bratislava bike ride from Bratislava here.

Did you know that specialized cycling is one of the best ways to partially slow the progression of Parkinson's disease? As a result, cycling has become an indispensable part of life for many people living with the disease.

The point of this special bike ride is simple: ADELI supports numerous patient groups. We want to help people find access to therapeutic care and provide them with enough information on how to cope with a neurodegenerative diagnosis and how to manage their own recovery.

Ján Hefty is committed to ensuring that as much information as possible is available about this disease. 114parkinson.sk is a platform where those affected can find help. He himself is a prime example of how exercise can effectively slow the progression of a neurodegenerative disease. Furthermore, exercise is the key to a better quality of life for everyone.

At the finish line, sports fans were greeted by a fantastic finish-line lounge offering refreshments, excellent beer, and even better locally produced non-alcoholic beverages. Around 30 ADELI employees created an atmosphere where we could enjoy the sunshine.
