The youngest participant in the history of the TV program "Dámsky klub" of the Slovakian public broadcaster STVR: our little client Jakubko (3.5 months).
It was a great experience in this constellation!
On Monday, April 28, 2025, the ADELI Medical Center had the honor of being represented in the popular Ladies' Club on STVR by our exceptional head of the medical department, Dr. Jana Stanová. The experienced expert, recognized not only in the field of Vojta therapy, but also in matters of proper infant development, shared her knowledge and practical experience with the audience.
Dr. Jana Stanová, the head of the medical department at the ADELI Medical Center, addressed the issue with unwavering expertise. Jakub knew exactly when to sleep and when to face the cameras.
And Jakub's mom Nadia deserves a medal for her excellent preparation and determination to convince other moms that it's not worth waiting for physiotherapy!
In her presentation, Dr. Stanová emphasized the importance of immediately consulting health professionals - especially paediatric neurologists, paediatricians, rehabilitation physicians and qualified paediatric physiotherapists - whenever a child is suspected of having developmental delays or abnormalities. She encouraged parents to ask lots of questions and insist on answers. She also recommended relying on maternal instinct and, if in doubt, always seeking a second opinion from another specialist. The more time is lost in the proper development of a child, the more time-consuming it is later to make up for what has been missed.
At the ADELI Medical Center , we have been dedicated to early therapeutic intervention and specialized rehabilitation of the consequences of cerebral palsy, genetic syndromes and various forms of damage caused by oxygen deficiency in the brain for over 20 years. Our aim is to help children and their families make the best possible progress as early as possible.
We are proud that Dr. Jana Stanová, on behalf of the ADELI Medical Center, was able to convey this important message about the need for early diagnosis and expert help to a wide audience.
