ADELI DAY: Experience the barrier, understand the reality

Education can save lives, which is why education is one of the missions of ADELI and the ADELI Foundation.

The ADELI DAY event under the motto “Experience the barrier, understand the reality” took place on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at the OC Nivy shopping center in Bratislava and attracted numerous visitors.

The focus was on key questions about daily life and health:
Is my child developing properly?
What should I do about chronic pain?
How can scoliosis be treated in adolescents?

Visitors had the opportunity to seek a second opinion and talk with specialists in an open, informal atmosphere.

ADELI Baby Zone
In the ADELI Baby Zone, families were greeted by a baby activity course supervised by experienced therapists and a pediatric neurologist. Parents could have their children’s development assessed, from a few months old up to seven years of age.

Premature babies and children with health or developmental risks were also warmly welcomed. Visitors received valuable information about therapeutic options for promoting psychomotor development, including the principles and mechanisms of Vojta therapy.

“ASK US” Zone
This zone offered support and expert advice for issues related to mobility and speech following strokes, severe damage to the brain and spinal cord, and neurodegenerative diseases. Specialists from the ADELI Medical Center available for consultations in the fields of neurology, orthopedics, and rehabilitation.

“TRY IT OUT” Zone
Here, visitors could experience everyday situations from the perspective of people with disabilities and thus gain a deeper understanding of the challenges they face.

ICAROS Zone
Neurorehabilitation is always the result of close collaboration between the patient and a team of experts. The ICAROS devices enable balance training in a virtual reality environment. Performance can be precisely measured, the therapy is motivating, and it encourages active patient participation.

The goal of every training session is to promote neuroplasticity—that is, the brain’s ability to form new connections and restore lost functions.
