ADELI CYBER CHALLENGE 2025: free participation and more mobility

The renowned ADELI Medical Center in Piešťany is expanding its range of therapies for people with spinal cord injuries. As part of a two-week intensive program, patients can now use the globally unique HAL exoskeleton - a revolutionary technology that makes it possible to control movements using nerve impulses. Vienna/Piešťany, June 2025 Cybernetic neurotechnology is an interdisciplinary field that combines cybernetics (control and communication) with neuroscience (the study of the brain and nervous system). Cyberdyne's HAL system recognizes bioelectric signals in the muscles even before any visible movement takes place. The robot provides targeted support for the movement sequence and thus enables a completely new dimension of rehabilitation.

Five people (including accompanying person) currently have the opportunity to take part in the two-week intensive CYBERTHERAPY program at the ADELI Medical Center using the HAL exoskeleton free of charge. The project is called ADELI CYBER CHALLENGE 2025. Applications can be sent to challenge@adelicenter.com from now until June 30, 2025. Participants can experience the therapy program up close and take their mobility to a new level.

Up to 2,000 patients are currently treated individually at the ADELI Medical Center in Slovakia every year. Piešťany is located around 80 km north-east of Bratislava and 160 km from Vienna and is known as a traditional health resort for exercise therapy, healing and sulphur mud baths.
