Dear friends of ADELI! The desire to promote health goes hand in hand with the desire to care for body and soul. The neurorehabilitation center ADELI Medical Center in Piešťany unites people in their efforts with an even higher goal: to build friendships and help one another. On October 22nd, ADELI, in cooperation with WELLA PROFESSIONALS, invites you to the 3rd edition of the ADELI Hair Cutting Marathon titled “The Power of Friendship”.
One Sunday in October is an opportunity for the public to visit the renowned center and experience the extraordinary energy and joy of the people involved in managing neurological disorders. The charitable haircutting marathon is not only a wonderful example of noble values. Over a dozen hairdressers exemplify the skills that ADELI's experts foster in their patients: a broad imagination, diligence and perseverance! The ADELI Haircutting Marathon is a show of hairdressing, an exciting show of action, with good music and bubbles bubbling like a beehive. All for one common goal: to raise as much money as possible for 7-year-old Jerguš Valach.
Jerguš and his sister Amálka were born prematurely when their mother suffered a severe brain hemorrhage and could not be saved. Unfortunately, Jerguš’ brain was damaged due to insufficient oxygen supply, and he suffers from a lifelong diagnosis – cerebral palsy. Jerguš still has to learn how to walk, communicate, and interact with his environment. Although the therapeutic circuit is demanding, there is still hope that through diligence and perseverance, Jerguš can achieve a degree of independence. The twins are being cared for by their father and grandparents. They appreciate the help of people who are not indifferent to the fate of their family. The proceeds from the charity ADELI Hair Cutting Marathon are intended for the development of the motor and cognitive skills of Jerguš Valach through neurorehabilitation at ADELI.
