ADELI ZONE: Development observation at Kinderfreunde KG in Vienna

This opportunity will be offered again on January 27, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., this time at the kindergarten of the Wiener Kinderfreunde, Koppstraße 103, 1160 Vienna.

On January 20, a developmental observation took place at Kindergarten 20, Stromstraße 33–35, as part of the ADELI ZONE. (This opportunity will be offered again on January 27, 2026—this time at the Wiener Kinderfreunde kindergarten, Koppstraße 103, 1160 Vienna.) The event offers families the chance to have their children's motor and cognitive development observed in a safe and relaxed setting, from the age of 0.5 years to preschool age.

What happened on site?

The therapeutic team at the ADELI Medical Center in Piešťany (Slovakia), supported by a pediatric neurologist, a specialist in the Vojta method, a speech therapist, and a psychologist, observed the children during free play. The aim was to identify any developmental delays at an early stage and provide parents with targeted advice.

The children were able to play in a familiar environment while the professionals:

  • Observed motor skills and movement development
  • Assessing perceptual abnormalities
  • Observing language and communication development
  • provided technical recommendations for further steps as needed

Parents had the opportunity to ask questions and discuss any uncertainties they had. If any abnormalities were found, individual recommendations were made and further examinations were explained – naturally only if the parents wished this.

The specialists focused not only on motor delays or atypical movement patterns, but also paid attention to behavioral abnormalities such as lack of eye contact, increased sensitivity, delayed developmental stages, ADHD, and similar signs of an immature nervous system.

Parents of children who were born prematurely, had a complicated birth (had a low APGAR score), or who have a known genetic syndrome or are suspected of having one are also particularly welcome to attend.
