ADELI invites you: PlayPicnic with the NoTube experts

Accompanying with heart instead of fear: When eating becomes a daily worry, many parents are under great pressure. Their own child eats only a very limited diet, refuses meals, is afraid of certain foods, or relies on a feeding tube. Uncertainty, exhaustion, and the question 'What else can we do?' often arise.

First and foremost, the most important message: You are not alone, and you do not need to be afraid. For many challenges surrounding eating, feeding, and weaning from a tube, there is now loving, competent, and successful support available.

On May 13, 2026, the ADELI Medical Center Piešťany invites you to a special information day with recognized specialists from NoTube in Graz. Guests include Univ. Prof. Dr. Peter Scheer and the pediatric physiotherapist Eva Kerschischnik.

When meals become a burden...

Many parents experience daily stress at the dining table, worries about weight and health, or conflicts within the family. This is exactly where this event comes in: with understanding, expertise, and concrete solutions.

Eating problems in children manifest in very different ways. Some children eat only a few selected foods, others refuse food entirely or have difficulties learning to eat due to their medical history.

What to expect?

Individual consultations

In personal discussions, families receive targeted recommendations tailored to the needs of their child. Each consultation lasts 30 minutes and offers space for questions, worries, and new perspectives.

PlayPicnic: discovering food playfully

During the joint PlayPicnic, children encounter food without pressure: with play, curiosity, and positive experiences. In this way, a new approach to eating can emerge. At the same time, parents receive valuable impulses and practical tips directly from the experts.

Note: If a child is currently unable to swallow, it is recommended that the parents attend the consultation only.

€65 per family

The price includes the individual consultation as well as participation in the PlayPicnic.

Adult rehabilitation

The ADELI Medical Center offers adult patients primarily intensive and individual rehabilitation solutions. Neuro-rehabilitation is aimed at people with neurological conditions as well as brain damage following cerebral hemorrhages and strokes. It also supports patients who suffer from the consequences of brain and spinal cord accidents.
