New era in physiotherapy training

A milestone for physiotherapy: The University of Prešov and the renowned Adeli Medical Center have announced a significant partnership that will provide students with practical and advanced training at one of the leading neurorehabilitation centers.

The Faculty of Health Sciences of the University of Prešov and Adeli Medical Center, located in Piešťany, have signed a cooperation memorandum that opens up new paths in education and research. According to a press release from Anna Polačková, the university's spokesperson, this agreement will allow students of the 2nd Bachelor's year and the 1st and 2nd Master's year of the Department of Physiotherapy to gain valuable practical experience in two-week blocks from May to August.

The Dean of the Faculty, Štefánia Andraščíková, emphasized the importance of cooperation for preparing students for professional challenges and praised the initiative of Dr. Jozef Pribula, who brought innovative approaches to the curriculum with his international experience.

The partnership also strengthens the link between theory and practice, as Zuzana Cyprichová, Managing Director of the Adeli Foundation, emphasized. She sees this as an enrichment for both sides and an opportunity for Adeli Medical Center to become the first employer for graduates of the faculty.

The University of Prešov has also received a generous donation of the ICAROS Health device from Adeli Medical Center , a state-of-the-art training device that could revolutionize neurorehabilitation education for students. With more than 20,000 successfully treated patients from over 64 countries since 2004, the Adeli Medical Center underlines its leading role in neurorehabilitation and provides students with an unparalleled learning environment.
