Vascular stroke

A vascular stroke occurs when the blood supply to the brain is interrupted.

A vascular stroke occurs when the blood supply to the brain is interrupted. The following five types of detection can help identify a vascular stroke early:

  1. Sudden weakness or paralysis: A sudden loss of strength in the arms, legs or face may indicate a stroke.
  2. Speech disorders: Speech disorders, such as difficulty speaking, understanding or reading, may be an indication of a stroke.
  3. Visual disturbances: Sudden visual disturbances such as blurred vision or loss of vision on one side may indicate a stroke.
  4. Dizziness and balance problems: Dizziness, balance problems or difficulty walking may be an indication of a stroke.
  5. Severe headache: Sudden, severe headache, especially if accompanied by nausea or vomiting, may indicate bleeding in the brain and therefore a stroke.

If one or more of these symptoms occur, it is important to seek medical attention immediately. Prompt diagnosis and treatment can help limit the extent of the stroke and minimize the consequences.

Treatments (CPT)

The Adeli Medical Center offers a wide range of customized rehabilitation measures for patients with neurological impairments such as a vascular stroke. The following treatments are particularly suitable for patients with a vascular stroke:

  1. Neurophysiology: Neurophysiology focuses on restoring brain function after damage. For patients with a vascular stroke, special exercises and therapies can be developed to restore motor and cognitive functions.
  2. Physical Therapy: Physical therapy focuses on improving mobility, coordination and muscle strength to promote mobility. For patients with vascular stroke, specific exercises can be developed to increase muscle strength and flexibility.
  3. Occupational Therapy: Occupational therapy focuses on developing skills for daily activities to promote independence. For patients with vascular stroke, special techniques can be taught to improve fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
  4. Magnetic laser therapy: Magnetic laser therapy can help reduce inflammation and pain and promote tissue and cell regeneration. It may be beneficial for patients with vascular stroke to improve blood flow to the brain.
  5. Normobaric oxygen therapy: Normobaric oxygen therapy can help increase oxygen levels in the brain and promote tissue and cell regeneration. It may be beneficial for patients with vascular stroke to improve brain function.

The above treatments are just some of the many tailored rehabilitation programs that the "ADELI Medical Center" offers for patients who have suffered a vascular stroke. The medical team at the center will work closely with patients to develop an individualized treatment plan tailored to each patient's specific needs.
